Thieves smashed a car window in one of three vehicle break-ins on Creighton Ave. over the weekend. Sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, someone smashed the rear driver's side window of a car, entered a pickup truck and broke into a camper trailer. Creighton RCMP report that stereo equipment, CDs and cassette tapes were stolen from the vehicles, which were parked on the 600 block of Creighton Ave. Police couldn't say what was used to smash the car window. They ask anyone with information on this or any other unsolved crime in Creighton or Denare Beach to contact them at 688-8888 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers need not reveal their identity and may become eligible for a cash reward.
