Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Reminder has joined the Facebook world to keep its readers connected on another level. The new Facebook page, which had already reached nearly 70 likes just three days after going public, will offer pictures of community events as well as sneak peeks of what readers can expect to see. Between news, sports and recreation, the Facebook page will offer it all. As The Reminder publishes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week, the Facebook page will give a hint or two of what readers can expect to find. Photo albums There are already a number of photo albums on the page such as pictures from the Vagina Monologues, the Flin Flon Recreational Spring Dance Recital, and the Bust the Winter Blues Festival. The page is open for feedback and The Reminder looks forward to your comments. The Reminder reserves the right to edit or remove comments. We hope to see this Facebook page as a positive and helpful tool for the Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach and surrounding areas. The new Facebook page will help promote the events that The Reminder covers. With this new page, The Reminder will be able to post more pictures from the events rather than only print a few. The Facebook page was launched officially Monday morning.
