Two young people who were looking forward to the Santa Parade on Main Street, weren't about to let the cancellation of the event spoil their day last Saturday. Five year-old Jonathon Faktor and four year-old Hunter Lee had been looking forward to riding on the Faktor's float in the big parade. After hearing that the parade wasn't going ahead this year, the pair decided to dress up in their parade costumes anyway, and walk along the Main Streets sidewalk. As a result, they weren't the only ones who enjoyed the Christmas spirit uptown on Saturday. "They handed out Faktor's pens to the adults and candy to the kids along Main Street for an hour," said Hunter's mom, Cindi. "They had a blast and so did everyone who saw them! " "They were a little disappointed that the parade was cancelled but had fun nonetheless," she added.
