Flin Flonners, past and present, gathered at Fiesta Tex-Mex,Weslaco Tx. for their first gathering of 2012. Conspicuous by their absence were Wally and Rosemarie Ariko and Ken and Jackie Highmoor. On a different note we were pleased to welcome Wayne Elliott of Denare Beach. Wayne is in the middle of a grand circle tour of Canada and the United States States by motorcycle. He started late last summer and has covered Labrador, Newfoundland, and then down the East coast of Canada and the U.S.A., ending in the Rio Grande Valley to date. Soon he will continue to San Diego and then north to Canada and Alaska. So far he has covered about 14,000 miles and has about 17,000 to go. There were about 33 people present. Among those present were: Al and Agnes Mills, Ray Lavergne, Carol Shirran, Terry and Jan Hills, Dave and Vera Dahl, Al and Lynn Brown, Glen and Lois Bryson, Drew and Debbie Bongfeldt, Jack and Marlene Kinsley, Bill Cunningham and Cheryl Maranchuk, Ron and Louise Fenwick, Larry and Marlene Kirby, Ernie and Colleen Krokosz, Wayne Elliott, Ken and Janet Cunningham, Gerry and Brenda Willey, Pat Karlson, Mabel Parshall, Barrie and Jeanette Smith.
