January 10th saw most of the Flin Flonners that spend the winter in south Texas gather at Jeanette and Barry Smith's place in LLano Grande Lake Park for a happy hour before the monthly supper. A good visit was had and we got caught up on most of the news from back home. The weather has been very good this year except for a couple of days at Christmas. Believe it or not, it snowed here Christmas Eve and there was enough snow for the kids to make snowmen and have snowball fights. The first time this has happened since 1898. We were golfing in two days, though. The following attended the supper at Beto's Restaurant: Pat & Jim Karlson, Jim & Audrey Parres, Al & Agnes Mills, Norm & Gail Rudd, Muriel Burnett, Wally & Rose Marie Ariko, Glen & Lois Bryson, Marlene & Larry Kirby, Dan & Donalda Hamilton, Mabel Parshall, Reg Luchuk, Irene Huspek and Barry & Jeanette Smith. The next supper will be the second monday of February at Beto's. If you are in the area be sure and stop in for supper with us at 4:30 p.m.
