Norway House RCMP are investigating a report of an abduction and sexual assault that occurred last week. Their initial investigation indicates a 16-year-old girl was abducted, while walking alone in Norway House, by an unknown male driving a black, four-door older model car. The victim advised she was taken to a remote location and sexually assaulted. She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the Norway House RCMP at 204-359-6483, their local police agency or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
