Jonathon Naylor Editor A Thompson teacher charged with sexually exploiting a female teenage student has been arrested and freed again after allegedly breaching the conditions of his initial release. David John Boyce, 56, was first arrested on March 24 and released on a recognizance with what police called 'strict conditions.' RCMP said Boyce was arrested again on April 2 after breaching those conditions. The Thompson Citizen reported that Boyce allegedly contacted the purported victim. The Citizen also reported that Boyce spent 72 hours in custody before being released a second time last Thursday, April 5 after he was brought to court in leg irons and handcuffs. On March 22, Thompson RCMP received a complaint from the School District of Mystery Lake advising of suspected inappropriate behaviour between a teacher at the R.D. Parker Collegiate high school and a teenage female student. Boyce is considered innocent until proven guilty.
