Move over, Joe McCormick. Members of a local service club took over the airwaves of CFAR yesterday to raise money for community initiatives. Cracking jokes, playing music and doing their best to entertain the listening public, various members of the Rotary Club of Flin Flon were at the microphone. It was the beginning of Rotary Radio Days, a three-day fundraiser in which revenue from the ads the Rotarians read will stay with the club. It's one of the club's more successful fundraisers each year, and one which the volunteers particularly enjoy.
