A group of Creighton Community School grade 9 students have placed second in a national video contest. The contest, sponsored by the Elks and Royal Purple, called for videos showing the dangers of drinking and driving. The four students, Jolene Eagles, Jake Christianson, Taylor Watling, and Andrew Rachuk, brainstormed the script, directed and acted, shot the video, and did the editing and rendering. The video won top spot locally and provincially before finishing in second place nationally. The students were surprised at how well they did, as they admit the video could be a lot more polished. They all were encouraged by the win and plan on entering more video contests in the future. You can watch the video on the Internet at www.creightonschool.com
