A familiar face at the Salvation Army Thrift Store enjoyed her final day on the job yesterday. Vi Coe retired after three years as manager of the North Avenue shop. "I enjoyed my three years here, I really did," she commented. Aside from overseeing the day-to-day operation of the store, Vi enjoyed providing advice to customers and just being there to listen when they needed to talk. She said she is very grateful to the volunteers who helped her over the years, including Linda Mousseau. A volunteer at the store for the past eight months, Linda assumes the manager's position today. Donations are always welcome at the store, which helps numerous families make ends meet with its inexpensive prices on clothing and various household items.
