Visitors to the third floor of Flin Flon General Hospital will be able to rest a little easier, thanks to a donation from the Inner Wheel.

Members of the club and staff with the Northern Health Region (NHR) teamed up to provide the third floor of the hospital with a pair of new sleeper chairs. The chairs were donated by the club for use by patients and their families while using services on the hospital’s third floor. The seats appear like normal, fixed-back chairs on first glance, but can recline to a full horizontal position so the user can lay down for some rest.

“The Northern Health Region would like to thank the Inner Wheel for this very generous donation,” read a statement from an NHR spokesperson.

An exact dollar value for the donation was not given, but price estimates for the chairs are well into thousands of dollars each.
