Hope everyone enjoyed the snow earlier this week - because, according to Environment Canada, more of it will be coming this weekend.

The Flin Flon area, along with Snow Lake, The Pas and several other northern Manitoba communities, is under a snowfall warning as of about 4 p.m. Friday. A snowfall warning was also issued for a large band of Saskatchewan, stretching across all of the province's central regions and parts of the north - including Creighton, Denare Beach, Pelican Narrows and nearby communities - as of about 4:40 p.m. Friday.

An Alberta clipper is slated to come through the area starting Saturday, with about 10-20 centimetres of heavy, wet-pack snow slated to fall before ending Sunday.

"An Alberta clipper will push heavy, wet snow through west-central Manitoba beginning Saturday morning. The heaviest snow will fall through the day on Saturday and into Saturday night before gradually tapering off on Sunday," reads the snowfall warning.

"Total snowfall accumulations of 10-20 centimetres is expected."

The Flin Flon area was previously under a series of watches and warnings throughout the week, including a special weather statement that was called Nov. 1 and was in effect until Nov. 3.

"Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop," reads the Environment Canada warning.
