Frustrated motorists got stuck in ruts and anxious children dug out their crazy carpets Saturday after waking up to one of the more generous snowfalls this winter. The Flin Flon Municipal Airport reports that about seven centimetres of the white stuff fell on Saturday. Mother Nature's fluffy deposit kept snow removal crews extra busy as they tirelessly cleared the roadways, lumping the snow into large bright white piles. While Saturday had what was by all accounts a fairly heavy snowfall, it wasn't the largest one residents have seen this winter. That distinction goes to the snowfall of January 11, when 12 centimetres of the white stuff came down.
