The second Flin Flon Rotary Club Air Show is tomorrow.

The show will take place on July 11 at the Flin Flon Airport. For the second time in three years, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds team will appear in Flin Flon, serving as the main attraction of the show.

Gates at the site will open at 2 pm, with on-stage entertainment starting at 3 pm. All times listed are in Central Standard Time

Several food trucks and local businesses will set up at the air show site, as well as a mobile recruitment trailer from the Department of National Defence. An assortment of local musicians will perform before the Snowbirds take to the sky.

Parking will be available around the area. For anyone hoping to avoid any potential traffic delays, a park and ride system will be established, picking up people from the Flin Flon Walmart and taking them to the air show site.

The main attraction of the day begins at 7 pm.

Nine Snowbirds will be taking part in the show, flying up from their permanent base at 15 Wing near Moose Jaw.

A C-130 Hercules transport plane and possibly other military aircraft may make appearances at the show.

Tickets for the show have been distributed to several schools and groups in Flin Flon and in outlying communities, including Snow Lake.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the ongoing Flin Flon emergency room renovation project.

During their time in Flin Flon, members of the Snowbirds will take in a tour of the new facility, which is scheduled to be open in the fall.
