Rockcliff Resources announced last week it is increasing the diamond drill program on its Snow Lake Project from 3,000 metres to 4,000 metres. At what is known as the Rail Property, two holes have been completed, testing deep geophysical targets along strike of the Rail Copper Deposit, the junior miner said. Drill samples have been sent to an assay lab and will be announced when available. A third hole is presently in progress south of the Rail Property, testing an off-hole conductor measuring 400 metres long by 250 metres high, Rockcliff said. The nearest hole to the conductor intersected 4.1 metres grading 5.1 per cent copper, 0.6 grams of gold per tonne, 0.2 per cent zinc and 7.3 grams of silver per tonne, the company said. Meanwhile, drilling at the Tower Property will commence shortly. Two untested geophysical conductors located near this deposit are set to be tested. Rockcliff said the Tower Property has intersected "pervasive" copper mineralization over a strike length of 700 metres and to a vertical depth of over 400 metres. Open in all directions The deposit remains open in all directions and has intersected high-grade VMS (volcanogenic massive sulfide) mineralization, according to the Toronto-based company.
