Icy conditions are being blamed for a minor accident yesterday afternoon in which a truck struck the parkade at the Co-op as well as another vehicle. There were no injuries when the driver of a pickup truck hit an outside wall of the parkade and a parked van while turning from Hapnot St. onto Fourth Ave., RCMP said. Damage to both vehicles was minor, police said. Police remind the motoring public to use added caution on sunny winter days, as the warmth tends to make the roads extra slick.
