The Flin Flon Archives group is presenting a light hearted look at the history of Flin Flon during a slide show at the Bakers Narrows campgrounds. The show will be held under a large tent provided by Manitoba Conservation. The tent, which seats up to 60 people, is usually used when feeding fire fighting crews in remote areas. The slide show is set for this Thursday, Friday and Sunday, July 8, 9 and 11, beginning at 9 p.m. each evening (note this is a change from the original posters). The slide show will be given by local historian Gerry Clark, and there will be a silver collection taken to help the Flin Flon Archives. People are asked to bring lawn chairs and bug spray when they attend this unique event.6/7/04
