Traffic at the railway crossing at the corner of Third Ave. and Channing Dr. was being regulated by a stop sign after the crossing sign was felled by a semi on August 23. Police said they spoke to the driver, who said he had not even realized he had hit the crossing. It is the second time in a year that the sign has been damaged. In December 2014 it was replaced after being hit by a transport. The Hudson Bay Railway Company will be replacing the sign. The company could not provide an estimated completion time before press time.
