All Darren Strelezski could do was sit in his truck and stare at his scratch ticket. His family wondered why he wasn't coming into the house. Strelezski wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him. By the time everything sunk in, the Flin Flon man was $50,000 richer after winning on a Set For Life Scratch 'n Win ticket. 'I was speechless when I saw the amount,' says Strelezski. Strelezski recently won the five-figure prize after purchasing the winning ticket from the Gas Bar. After finally making his way into his house and telling his family the good news, he was met with disbelief. Strelezski quickly headed to a store to confirm his win on the lottery terminal. He handed the clerk a $6 winner first, and then the other ticket, saying, 'I think this one is going to be a bit more.' Sure enough, it was. The ticket had three identical $50,000 prize amounts in the same play area for the win in the game's third highest prize category. Strelezski said he plans to share his winnings with family. _ Compiled from a Western Canada Lottery Corporation news release
