RCMP seized over 200 rocks of crack cocaine destined for The Pas on Thursday. The drug bust came after The Pas RCMP, acting on several tips, intercepted a Honda Civic about 60 kilometres south of The Pas. After securing a search warrant, police found the drugs as well as undisclosed stolen property and a prohibited weapon. A 42-year-old The Pas man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property and breach of probation. The man was remanded in custody and is slated to appear in The Pas Provincial Court today. Police have seized the man's vehicle as property related to a criminal offense. The Pas RCMP continue with their investigation.
