Students at Hapnot Collegiate are preparing for the second Hapnot science field trip. Last year, a group of students went to Winnipeg to visit the Museum of Man and Nature, with a stop in Grand Rapids to see the fish hatchery, and the Oak Hammock Marsh. This year, the group will be going to the museum in Drumheller to study dinosaurs and other structures on April 19-21. "Everything will be based in or around the museum," said Hapnot science teacher Ryan Gray. "We will spend time looking at the dinosaurs and the structures, and of course, going through the museum." An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hapnot staff room for parents and teachers. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include cost, deadlines and fundraising ideas. For more information, contact Ryan Gray at Hapnot Collegiate, 687-7506.
