Two Flin Flon natives are among the University of Alberta Augustana Campus students awarded scholarships for the 2015-16 academic year.
Mackenzie Grove, a first-year Bachelor of Science student, was awarded a total of $3,500 for Academic Excellence and Non-Alberta Incentive, funded by the Royal Canadian Legion, Camrose Branch No. 57 Award; an Augustana Faculty Academic Entrance Scholarship; a Bill and Berdie Fowler Entrance Award; and an Augustana Non-Alberta Incentive Entrance Award.
Tanner Korchinski, a former Flin Flon Bomber, is a fourth-year Bachelor of Arts student. He was awarded a total of $1,200 for hockey, funded by an Augustana Faculty Award in Hockey.
