The Flin Flon Fire Dept.’s new training mannequin has a name: Fred! Katelin Harmon of Ecole McIsaac School (seated on the mannequin) submitted the moniker in a name-the-mannequin contest held at McIsaac and Ruth Betts. In back are Fire Chief Jim Petrie, McIsaac’s Sylvie Dufour (in front of Petrie), Ruth Betts’ Tammy Ballantyne, firefighter Travis Pfoh, McIsaac’s Steve Lytwyn and firefighter Damian Dominey. With Katelin’s permission, the fire dept. has given Fred the last name of McFlame. Katelin received a toy fire truck from the fire department.
