Saskatchewan has another 20 cases of COVID-19, with all but two of them coming from in and around La Loche.
The new numbers were released by the provincial government May 5, with a total of 171 active cases continuing province-wide. Saskatchewan has reported 487 total cases of COVID-19 during the outbreak.
Three more people within the province have recovered from the disease, while 13 people are in hospital with COVID-19, including four in intensive care.
There have been 128 cases of COVID-19 reported in the far north since the outbreak began. The far north region of Saskatchewan now has exactly twice as many active cases of COVID-19 as the rest of the province does combined - 114 to 57.
Travel restrictions to northern Saskatchewan have changed, with exemptions to the restriction for travel to La Ronge and Stony Rapids now removed.
