Sask. reports two new COVID-19 cases, no new cases reported in Manitoba

Saskatchewan reported two more cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, including a new case in the far north. The two new reported cases bring the province's total number of cases up to 656, with 19 cases still considered active.

Saskatchewan reported two more cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, including a new case in the far north.

The two new reported cases bring the province's total number of cases up to 656, with 19 cases still considered active. The community where the far north case was found was not released by provincial health officials. The other case reported Tuesday was confirmed to be in Saskatoon.

One person in Saskatchewan is currently hospitalized with COVID-19. That person is in Saskatoon in intensive care.

No new cases of the disease were reported in Manitoba Tuesday, with overall tests conducted in the province reaching the 50,000 mark. Eight people currently have COVID-19 in Manitoba. Since the pandemic began, 300 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manitoba, with 285 confirmed recoveries.
