A special presentation was made at the Ruth Betts School monthly awards ceremony which was held on October 30 in the school's gymnasium. Christa McIntyre of the NRHA Health Promotions was on hand to present the school with an award for their efforts in the national Walk To School promotion that was held this fall. For the third year in a row, Ruth Betts School has won this award, competing in the Flin Flon School Division. Apparently 88% of the school's students participated this year in the annual health promotion, as well as 45 parents and 14 staff members.
