Ruth Betts School held their Monthly Awards day on Thursday, January 29 in the Ruth Betts auditorium with principal John Belfry announcing the recipients. For the Virtue awards with Helpfulness being the theme this month, the recipients were: K-Klause: Zoey Haugerud, 1- Fisher/Reitlo: Makala Burns and Racheal Custer, 1-Tardiff: Kayleigh D'Aoust Sewap, 2-Overby: Alex Clarke and Naomie Rye, 3-Fox: Jordan Bolton and Rebecca Bodnarchuk, 3Ú4-Spewak: John Harkiss and Caitlin Keyes, 5-Hyndman: Riley Blouin, Destine Spiller and Benjamin Murray, 6-Kowal: Lisa Gidney and Kyrsta Murphy, 7-Gamble: Holly Keyes, Ashley Johnson, Taylor Dreavor and Jeremiah Herrmann-Garay, 7-Lytwyn: Sebastien Whitbread, Jason Fehr and Cody Halldorson, 8-Reagan: Kale Nordick and Owen Woloshyn. In the Academic awards with Showing Creativity the theme the winners were: K-Klause: Tyrell Ashdown, 1-Fisher/Reitlo: John Agpalza, 2-Overby: Hailey Whitmore and Angela Zagrodney, 3-Fox: Allan Colomb and D.J. Porteous, 3Ú4-Spewak: Tyrell Wheeler and Shae-Lynne Besler, 5-Hyndman: Jasmine Chabot, Gage McKay and Jaimie Fleuty, 6-Kowal: Lucretia Benko and Kyle Macfie, 7-Gamble: Dillon Gayton, Kelsey Roncin, Tim Kerfont and Kyle Clarke, 7-Lytwyn: Caitlin Mickelson and Michelle Podaima, 8-Reagan: Jamee Barr and Brady Bouvier. There was also a special presentation to the winners of the poster contest 'Bust the Winter Blues'. The winners are: John Agpalza from grade 1, Kelsey Forget from grade 2, Jordan Bolton from grade 3 and Caitlin Ticzon from grade 3Ú4.
