A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of April 20 to 26:
Monday, April 20
• Vehicle observed driving at a high speed and swerving into the oncoming lane. Driver faces charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and impaired operation of a motor vehicle over .08.
• Report from a complainant who had lent his truck to a female and now could not remember her name, as she hadn’t returned the truck.
• Report of a hit and run to a vehicle. Owner did not know where or when the damaged occurred.
• Report of a theft of licence plate from a vehicle parked on East Street.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at Flin Flon Public Library. The male was arrested and will be charged with mischief and causing a disturbance.
• Report of a 911 call in which a female was heard crying in the background. Matter under investigation.
Tuesday, April 21
• Report of a disturbance on Second Avenue. A male was arrested for breaching his probation order. Investigation revealed the female on scene provided a false name. She was wanted on warrants and was arrested and transported back to Saskatoon.
Wednesday, April 22
• Report of a break and enter to a garage on Princess Boulevard in which a chainsaw was stolen. Matter under investigation.
Thursday, April 23
• Complaint of a dirt bike and quad driving on the walking path near École McIsaac School while kids were leaving school. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a downtown service provider. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a garage on Manitoba Avenue that had been rummaged through sometime overnight.
• Police responded to a panic alarm at a Fifth Avenue residence. Investigation revealed a child had been playing with the key fob and the property reps were unaware the alarm was still active.
• Report of a fight between six to seven people on Hillcrest Avenue. Matter under investigation.
Friday, April 24
• Firefighters, EMS and police attended a single-vehicle rollover on the Perimeter Highway. The single occupant was removed from the vehicle and transported to Flin Flon General Hospital. Road conditions were deemed to be the contributing factor.
• Report of a suspicious package at the Flin Flon Court Office. Package seized and matter under investigation.
• Police responded to a panic alarm on Queen Street. Investigation revealed the homeowners were not home.
• Report of a theft of vehicle on Callinan Street. Matter under investigation.
• Report of harassment on Facebook that was passed onto police for informational purposes.
Saturday, April 25
• Report of unwanted persons on North Avenue. They had been served with an eviction notice and refused to leave. They were on their way out when police arrived.
• Report of uttering threats. Investigation revealed no threats had been uttered but the complaint was the result of an ongoing feud between two parties.
• Report of a truck that stopped at a Queen Street residence. Occupants entered the yard, stole a plant and appeared to do an indecent act. Description of vehicle and licence plate obtained. Matter under investigation.
Sunday, April 26
• Report of a loud party on Adams Street. Police attended and the party was shut down.
• Numerous complaints received of break and enters to garages on Dominion Boulevard and Queen Street. Matters under investigation.
• Report of suicide threats on Hill Street.
• Report of an intoxicated female kicking at a door on Ross Street. Police attended and the female was lodged until sober.
• Report from a male on Hapnot Street stating he had been assaulted. He did not want to press charges nor did he want to speak with police.
