A man who recently robbed a confectionery in The Pas at knife point is still at large. At 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, an unidentified man entered Broadway Confectionery and, knife in hand, demanded the clerk hand over money from the cash register. Wearing a long dark trench coat with his face covered, the suspect ran off with several hundred dollars. The man is described as between six feet and six feet, two inches tall in height with a slim build. The crime came about 18 hours after a lone culprit broke into the same store and stole several packages of cigarettes. The Pas RCMP have notified the Flin Flon media of these crimes and ask anyone with information to contact them at (204) 627-6200 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
