Highway 10 was temporarily shut down north of The Pas due to an accident early Sunday morning. The road has since reopened, according to the provincial Manitoba 511 highway map.
According to Manitoba RCMP, the site of the closure was about 10 kilometres north from the weigh station along the highway north of The Pas, putting the site somewhere around the turnoff to Clearwater Lake. RCMP asked people to avoid the area and traffic was turned around at the accident site.
The road closure was first reported around 2 a.m. local time. The highway was reopened between 7 and 8 a.m. No details have yet been released about the accident.
