Guy (Beastie) Rideout is the newest member of Flin Flon city council.
Rideout won Wednesday's by-election over Colleen Arnold, the only other candidate, by a margin of 335 to 179 votes.
He is due to be sworn in as a councillor on June 7. He will fill the seat left vacant by Leslie Beck's resignation earlier this year.
