The Flin Flon School Board honoured retirees and 25-year employees at a banquet last week at RJ's Motel. Retiring this school year are Diane Overby, a teacher at Ruth Betts School; Ruth Betts secretary Ann Hardy; McIsaac School Ecole McIsaac secretary Pat Ahmad; and Parkdale School custodian Cam Wilson. Honoured for 25 years of service to the school division were Ruth Betts principal John Belfry; Hapnot Collegiate teachers Darlene Myden and Gary Myden; Many Faces Education Centre teacher Clarence Pettersen; and McIsaac teacher Anne Phelan. The retirees each received a gift while the 25-year employees took home watches. The Flin Flon Teachers Association will honour the staff members at a tea on June 30 at St. Ann's Hall.
