The Reminder is pleased to welcome a new member to our team.
Cynthia Bigrigg will be responsible for advertising sales and managing special projects.
“I’ve been a reporter for the last four years, so I’m excited to learn another part of the business and I really like working with people,” she says.
Cynthia wrote for a variety of community newspapers, most recently the Hinton Voice in Hinton, Alberta, after graduating with an English degree from Hamilton’s McMaster University.
Originally from southern Ontario, Cynthia moved to Flin Flon in early January and is impressed by the community.
“I love that it is in the Canadian Shield,” she says. “I’m really outdoorsy. I can’t wait to be out on the lake and I like how it has the amenities of a larger place but it’s still a small town.”
