Reed mine near Snow Lake, co-owned by Hudbay and VMS Ventures, continues to progress.
The ramp is currently being driven to the 235-metre level and ore development is ongoing on the 160- and 185-metre levels, says VMS.
VMS says plans for the fourth quarter were to produce ore exclusively from multiple levels of a zone known as Zone 20.
“We expect the copper grade to improve in subsequent months as production from Zone 20 is now fully underway,” said Neil Richardson, chief operating officer for VMS.
