Jonathon Naylor Editor Residents are invited to celebrate two decades of community recycling. The Flin Flon and District Environment Council is hosting a cabaret-style social at the Creighton Community Hall on Nov. 2. Officials will recognize some of the many volunteers who have aided a community recycling program that began back in November of 1992. They will also shred the mortgage for the Recycling Centre, now paid off, and welcome local band The Usual Suspects to the stage. 'It will be a good evening,' says Deb Odegaard, chair of the Environment Council. Odegaard says community recycling has had its ups and downs but is 'definitely in the growing stage.' 'We couldn't have made it this far without the support of lots of people in the community,' she adds.
