RCMP and fire investigators are looking into a fire at a home in Pelican Narrows that they have deemed suspicious.
Police were called to a house fire on Highway 135 around 2 a.m. August 22, finding the house “fully engulfed when officers arrived,” according to a Saskatchewan RCMP news release. On scene, RCMP found that all people living in the house were able to escape without injury. The house was destroyed in the blaze.
After investigating, RCMP deemed the fire to be suspicious - Pelican Narrows RCMP and fire investigators from the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency are looking into the blaze. Anyone with possible information about the fire is asked to call Pelican Narrows RCMP at (306) 632-3300 or to report a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
