Two men have been arrested following a search warrant at Aspen Grove June 29.
According to a Manitoba RCMP news release, officers from the Flin Flon detachment executed the warrant at a residence in the housing development, along with officers from other units and detachments. Inside, officers located cocaine, several thousands of dollars in cash, a loaded revolver, a canister of bear spray and what RCMP described as "drug-related paraphernalia".
Two males, both from Winnipeg, were arrested in connection to the warrant - a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old. Both are facing drug and weapons-related offences, but the exact list of charges for either male was not announced by RCMP. An investigation is ongoing into the situation.
The 17-year-old male was remanded into custody - according to police, he had multiple outstanding arrest warrants. The 20-year-old male was released and is slated to appear in court July 15 in Flin Flon.
