Recap of Flin Flon RCMP calls

A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the week of March 30 to April 5:

Monday, March 30

• Report of a stolen vehicle on Hillcrest Avenue. Vehicle located in Pelican Narrows. Matter under investigation.

• Police advised of an alarm call to a property on Cliff Lake Road. Upon arrival, the property was deemed secure and the alarm cancelled.

Tuesday, March 31

• Report of an unwanted intoxicated male outside of a residence on North Avenue. Police attended and were informed he had left.

• Report of an unlocked vehicle on Wright Avenue that had been entered overnight. A few items of small value were stolen from inside the vehicle.

• Report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a Main Street business. Police attended and arrested the male, who was lodged until sober.

• Report of a break and enter on Church Street. Police continue to investigate.

• Report of multiple unwanted people in a Ross Street residence. Both a male and a female agreed to leave.

Wednesday, April 1

• Report of a disturbance near Aspen Grove involving a male and a female. Police spoke with all parties and determined the incident was a misunderstanding.

• Report of unwanted persons at a Hapnot Street residence. Police attended and were advised by the property rep that everything was resolved.

Thursday, April 2

• Noise complaint at an Aspen Grove residence. Police spoke to the property rep.

• Report of a missing youth. He returned home safely later in the day.

• Report of a dog continuously barking overnight on Queen Street.  

• Report of yelling and screaming on Main Street. Police attended but found nobody in the area upon arrival.

• Report of an assault on Main Street. Police continue to investigate.

• Report of a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle on Channing Drive and the female driver was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested and later released on documents to appear in court at a later date.

• Report of an intoxicated male kicking at the door outside a Hill Street residence. He was located, arrested and lodged until sober. He was known to the caller and she did not wish to pursue charges.

Friday, April 3

• Report of an assault on Hill Street. Incident determined to be unfounded.

• Report of unwanted persons at a Callinan Street residence. Police attended but the property rep said she did not want anybody removed and everything was fine.

• Report of a white truck driving erratically on Main Street. Police conducted patrols but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday, April 4

• Report of mischief on Hapnot Street. The complainant advised somebody had opened all of her mail sometime overnight. Matter under investigation.

Sunday, April 5

• Report of a loud party complaint on Third Avenue. Police attended and shut down the party.

• Report of a loud party at Aspen Grove. Police attended and spoke with the property rep.

• Alarm call to a Main Street business. Police attended and found the building to be secure. Alarm cancelled.

• Report of a residential alarm on Scarth Street. The homeowner called shortly afterwards and advised he had forgotten to turn off the alarm. Alarm cancelled.
