A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the week of Feb. 16 to 22:
Monday, Feb. 16
• Police responded to a family dispute over a court order on Terrace Avenue.
• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital who was medically cleared. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
Tuesday, Feb. 17
• Report of an unknown male knocking on a door at an Aspen Grove residence. He left prior to police arrival.
• Report of theft of medication on Hill Street.
• Report of a white jeep speeding on Dominion Boulevard. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at a South Hudson Street residence. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
Wednesday, Feb. 18
• Report of a blue minivan driving erratically on Highway 10 near Bakers Narrows. Police patrolled the area but could not locate the vehicle.
• Report of a male entering a Hill Street residence to buy drugs. The property rep stated he doesn’t sell them anymore. The male who had entered the residence then called to report the property rep was threatening him.
• Report of a missing child on Hapnot Street. She was located a short time later at a friend’s house.
• Police responded to a Church Street residence for a report of a fight. Investigation revealed it was a consensual fight. One male was arrested and lodged until sober.
Thursday, Feb. 19
• Report of a male causing a disturbance at the Primary Health Care Centre.
• Report of an erratic driver on Terrace Avenue near Ruth Betts Community School. Matter under investigation.
• Police were called to Flin Flon General Hospital for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed the injuries were received during a play fight.
Friday, Feb. 20
• Report of a fraud in which the caller reports they are bill collectors for Manitoba Hydro and state that $300 is owing on a bill. They request the bill be paid using Visa pre-paid cards.
• Report of an impaired driver on Highway 10. The vehicle was located and investigation revealed the driver was not impaired.
• Report of a female attempting to walk out of a local grocery store with a cart of groceries. Staff stopped her prior to her leaving the store. She will be banned from the store.
• Report of an intoxicated male outside a local hotel. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of underage drinking at a Church Street residence.
Saturday, Feb. 21
• Report of a bird striking a side mirror on a vehicle and causing damage.
• Report of an unlicensed driver on Main Street. Patrols were made but the vehicle could not be located.
• Report of a collision between a snowmobile and a car near a local convenience store. The driver of the snowmobile was charged under the Off-Road Vehicles Act.
• While on patrol, police observed an intoxicated male sitting in a snow bank. He was lodged until sober.
Sunday, Feb. 22
• Report received of a stray dog on Hiawatha Avenue. The dog was returned to its owner.
