RCMP Report: Break and enters investigated

Flin Flon RCMP is investigating recent break-ins to two Callinan Street businesses.

Break and enters to Jim’s Custom Doors and Windows and Scorpio Bearing were reported in January.

The Scorpio building was vandalized during the break-in, which took place on Jan. 19. The culprits broke the store’s glass front door and trashed part of the store. Graffiti was also sprayed on the building either during or near the break-in. Flin Flon RCMP is investigating the incidents and has not confirmed whether the crimes are related.

Threats uttered

Creighton RCMP responded to a complaint of a youth who had allegedly made threats against a school as well as an individual. As a result of the complaint, members arrested a 17-year-old male in Creighton. The youth, who cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with uttering threats. The youth appeared in Creighton Provincial Court on Jan. 26 and is scheduled to appear again on Feb. 13. No one was injured as a result of the incident and no weapons were seized by police.
