A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Sept. 21 to Sunday, Sept. 27:
Monday, Sept. 21
• Noise complaint at Aspen Grove. Police attended and the music had already been shut down.
• Report of a patient at the Flin Flon General Hospital receiving treatment after being assaulted with a weapon. It was learned the victim had been assaulted in a different community.
Tuesday, Sept. 22
• Report of a domestic assault in Flin Flon, Saskatchewan. Police attended and arrested and charged a male. He was released on conditions.
• Report of a side-by-side travelling at a high speed near Creekside Drive.
• Report of an intoxicated female at the hospital who was being treated after allegedly being assaulted. She would not disclose what happened to her.
Wednesday, Sept. 23
• Report of an intoxicated male and female at an uptown service provider. The female was arrested without incident. The male was transported to the Flin Flon General Hospital due to his high state of intoxication. He was later cleared and deemed fit for incarceration.
• Report of an intoxicated male carrying a wig between Church Street and Main Street. The male was not located and no one was seen carrying a wig.
• While on patrol, police noted a female going to the bathroom in a Main Street lot while her male counterpart assisted. Both were arrested and lodged.
• Report of an unwanted guest at a Boam Street residence. The caller was angry as the unwanted guest had been staying with the caller and was eating everything in the house. The suspect was no longer on scene when police attended.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Green Street. Police attended and learned the argument was only verbal.
• Report of a disturbance at a local hotel. Police attended and arrested an intoxicated male who seemed to be causing the problems. He was lodged and no charges are pending.
• Report of a male carrying a gun in the parking lot of Aspen Grove. Police attended and learned the gun was actually a pellet gun. The male was arrested without incident and charges are pending.
Thursday, Sept. 24
• Report of six people drinking in a Main Street back lane. Police attended but no intoxicated persons were seen in the area described by the caller.
• Report of a student having marijuana on him at an elementary school. Police spoke to the child and his parents. Matter will be dealt with within the school.
• Report of an intoxicated female at a Main Street business. She was arrested and lodged.
• A traffic stop resulted in a male being charged with open liquor and possession of marijuana.
• Report of two children hanging out of a second-storey window. The children and mother were spoken to about proper supervision.
Friday, Sept. 25
• Police asked to attend a residence and speak to a male about sleeping in someone’s shed.
• Report of a motorist on his cell phone almost running over a group of students at a crosswalk. Matter under investigation.
• Two reports of an intoxicated female walking on Hill Street. She was located, arrested and lodged.
• Report of six people drinking in a Main Street back alley. Police attended but the suspects were nowhere to be seen.
• Report of a group of people yelling and screaming in the back lane of Bellevue Ave. Police attended and the group was gone. The complainant refused to provide further details.
• Report of youth who had been sprayed with bear mace. Police attended and arrested and charged two male youths in the incident.
Saturday, Sept. 26
• Report of two intoxicated males refusing to leave a shed on a Main Street property. They had left prior to police arrival. One male was located a short time later and lodged until sober.
• Report of a male attempting to start fight at a local bar. He left prior to police arrival.
• A call was received from a female who reported she was having trouble with her husband and then hung up. Police attended the residence from which the call originated and the property rep said an intoxicated female requested to use her phone and then left.
• Report of a loud party on Manitoba Avenue.
• Report of a loud party at a Third Avenue residence. The party was dispersing as police arrived.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Churchill Ave. Investigation revealed it was only a verbal argument.
• Report of a handgun under the front steps of a Hill Street residence. Investigation revealed it was a pellet gun.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of two males fighting on Main Street. An intoxicated male was located a short time later and lodged until sober.
• Report of a rock thrown through the window of a North Avenue residence. No suspects at this time.
Sunday, Sept. 27
• Report of a group of males threatening each other on North Ave. Patrols were unable to locate the males.
• A door leading to a crawl space at the Personal Care Home was observed to be partially open with a bag inside. Police attended and the bag was found to be full of empty liquor bottles.
