Again this week the local detachment has been kept busy with accident reports, and reports of hit and run. Since October there have been 90 accidents reported where there has been property damage over $1,000. There have been 11 hit and run accidents and 20 injury accidents. Again, people are reminded to slow down. Give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get to your destination. A vehicle was vandalized while parked on Princess Blvd. There have been numerous reports of Break and Enters, and attempted Break and Enters. Somebody attempted to get into a house on South Hudson during the past week, as well as into a garage on Wright Avenue, and on Bracken Street. Damage was also done to the Lions trailer on Main Street. Flin Flon is a small enough and close enough community that we should know who our neighbours are, and when there is a suspicious person or vehicle around. If you see something that looks suspicious, call the police, let them check it out. If the tables were turned and someone was damaging your property, I'm sure you would appreciate a neighbour calling the police.
