A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of March 23 to 29: Monday, March 23 • Report of an unlocked vehicle on Bay Avenue that had been entered sometime during the night. Nothing was taken.

A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of March 23 to 29:

Monday, March 23

• Report of an unlocked vehicle on Bay Avenue that had been entered sometime during the night. Nothing was taken.

• Report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave a Green Street residence. Police attended and the female was arrested and lodged until sober.

• Noise complaint received for a Hapnot Street residence. 

• Report of a fraud in which a female asked a male to deposit her cheques into his account and then take the money from his account and give to her. Matter under investigation.

Tuesday, March 24

• Report of a black truck driving erratically near Hapnot Collegiate as students were dismissed. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an unlocked vehicle on Boam Street that had been entered during the night. Nothing was stolen.

• Report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Third Avenue. Matter under investigation.

Wednesday, March 25

• Report from a concerned citizen that a tire may fall off a parked vehicle on North Avenue.

• 911 call from a phone number that was no longer in service. 

• Report of yelling and screaming behind a local hotel. Police attended but nobody was located.

Thursday, March 26

• Anonymous complaint of a male driving without a valid license. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

• Report of an intoxicated male on Scarth Street who had lunged at a vehicle and who possibly had a knife. He was located and arrested but no knife was located. He was lodged until sober.

• Report of a group of teenagers causing a disturbance and being disrespectful to staff at Flin Flon General Hospital.

• Report of an attempted theft at a Flintoba Shopping Centre business. Matter under investigation.

Friday, March 27

• Report of an unknown male wandering around a Hapnot Street residence. Police attended but the male could not be located.

• Report of two males fighting on Hill Street. Investigation revealed the fight to be consensual.

• Report of an intoxicated male on Ross Street. Police attended and due to the male’s intoxication level he was taken to Flin Flon General Hospital to be medically cleared. Investigation revealed the male was on numerous conditions. He was remanded in custody.

Saturday, March 28

• Report of suicide threats on Hill Street.

• Report of an intoxicated female lying in the middle of Hill Street. She was located at a residence nearby.

• Noise complaint for a Hapnot Street residence. Police spoke to the property rep.

• Report of a complaint on Tweedsmuir Street that a neighbour’s exterior light was continuously on and he couldn’t sleep.

• Report of three intoxicated individuals at Flin Flon General Hospital. All three were located and lodged until sober.

• Report of a missing youth from Aspen Grove. She was located a short time later.

Sunday, March 29

• Report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave Flin Flon General Hospital.   The male was arrested and lodged.

• Report of an intoxicated female at Flin Flon General Hospital who threatened suicide.  The female was lodged and assessed by Mental Health once sober.

• Police asked to assist EMS with an intoxicated male on McKeen Avenue who had called ambulance for an apparent rib injury.  The male also threatened suicide and was assessed by Mental Health once sober.

• Report of a domestic disturbance on Bellevue Avenue.  A female and a male had both been drinking and arguing.  Both parties were separated for the evening to prevent further problems.

• Report of an intoxicated male yelling and screaming on Ross Street.  Police located the male and arrested him for causing a disturbance.  He was lodged until sober.

• Police called to a Ross Street residence for an intoxicated female refusing to go to sleep.  Upon police arrival, the complainant said the female had settled down and already started “sawing logs.”  The complainant said the female could stay at the home.
