A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, April 18 to Sunday, April 24, as provided by the RCMP:

Monday, April 18

• Several youths were reported to be damaging a trailer. The owner of the trailer was able to handle the matter by speaking to the youths and their parents, and reported the incident to police for information purposes. 

• Report of a male driving his dirt bike down a residential street in the dark with no headlights on. 

• Report of an intoxicated male at a local eatery bothering customers and refusing to leave. Police attended and arrested and lodged the male.

• Report of an intoxicated male attempting to ride a bike but failing miserably. The male was arrested and lodged.

• While transporting an intoxicated prisoner to cells, police located another very intoxicated male while on patrol. This male was arrested and lodged as well. 

Tuesday, April 19

• Report of a break and enter to a residence. The matter is under investigation. 

• While on patrol, an intoxicated male was located on Main Street. The male was placed under arrest under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act

• Report of a possible theft of a bank card and unauthorized transactions being made. The matter is under investigation. 

• Report of an intoxicated male in his shared residence, angry and smashing things. The male was gone upon police arrival and the complainant declined to have charges laid in the matter. 

• Report of a fight between two males. A vehicle window was broken in the process. The matter is under investigation. 

Wednesday, April 20

• Police were requested to attend a scene to assist EMS with a call for service. Police attended and the subject of complaint was transported to hospital without incident. 

• Report of a domestic assault between boyfriend and girlfriend. The male was arrested and subsequently charged. 

• Report of an intoxicated male urinating on his sister’s porch. Police attended and arrested and lodged the male. 

Thursday, April 21

• Report of an intoxicated male banging on the complainant’s door and smashing a window. The parties are known to each other and the matter is under investigation. 

• Report of unwanted persons in a residence who would not leave when asked. Police attended and the subjects of complaint departed upon police arrival. 

• Report of a male being cut by another male with a knife. Police attended and due to lack of cooperation between the victim and witnesses, no charges were laid in the matter. 

• Report of a fire at a residence on Tamarack Drive. Police and fire services attended, and the fire deemed to be not suspicious. 

• Report of a shoplifting complaint from a Main Street store. Suspects were located a short time later and arrested. Charges are expected.

• Report of an intoxicated male repeatedly going to his cousin’s residence. The complainant made police aware and asked them to tell the male to stop. 

Friday, April 22

• Report of a break and enter to a residence where household items were thrown about. The matter is under investigation. 

• Report of two intoxicated males near a downtown business. The males were both very intoxicated when located. Both were arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged. 

• Report of a theft from a residence. The time of the incident is unknown and the matter is under investigation. 

• Call received that a person was making suicidal comments. The subject of complaint was located and agreed to go to the hospital voluntarily. 

• Police were called to assist conservation officers after they located two persons impaired by alcohol on quads. Both were issued provincial suspensions.

• Report of four children being supervised by a 10-year-old sibling. Police and Child and Family Services assisted and were able to locate a relative to look after the children. 

Saturday, April 23

• Report of unwanted phone calls between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend. The female was instructed on the process to obtain a peace bond. 

• Report of a homeowner who wanted people removed from his residence. When police attended, all party goers were gone. 

• Report of an intoxicated person trying to get into a local business. The person was gone upon police arrival. 

• Report of two people caught attempting to shoplift items from a local grocery store. Police attended and the suspects are now barred from the store for life

• Report of a person making suicidal comments. The person was taken to the hospital voluntarily and received treatment.

• Two very intoxicated males were located drinking an unknown substance in a back alley uptown. One male was taken to cells to be lodged while the other was taken to the hospital before being cleared and lodged.
