The Fifth Annual Cailie Rae Church Memorial Fund 50/50 raffle winner, Amber Mucha (right), accepted her $2,500 cheque from Cailie’s niece, Ashlee Church, along with Cailie’s mom, Edna Smith. This year’s recipients of bursaries in Cailie’s memory were Torin Abrahamson (Grade 9 bursary of $500 toward four years of instrument rental / purchase) and Kari Rutherford (Grade 12 bursary of $1,000 toward post-secondary study in the field of music education). Many thanks to raffle organizer Nellie Brown, all of the businesses that allowed us to sell tickets, everyone who bought or sold tickets, family and friends far and wide – all your support allows us to continue to provide the bursaries in memory of our beautiful daughter, Cailie Rae.
