Roger Arseneau was first drawn to a pool table when he was 10 years old growing up in New Brunswick. The game became a life long passion for him and now, living in Flin Flon, he has turned his passion for pool into his business. This past summer, Roger purchased Racks Billiards on Main Street and he's getting ready to have his official Grand Opening this weekend. "I really enjoy the business," said Roger while sipping on a pop at Racks. "I'm learning more and more every day." Racks Billiards features eight pool tables, a nice sitting and lounge area, a large screen TV, a unique hot food menu and a wide selection of beverages. It's a great place to enjoy the company of others and to sharpen your pool skills. For those who desire some friendly competition, there's an 8-ball league on Monday nights, a 9-ball open tournament every Wednesday evening, and an open 8-ball tournament on Sunday evenings. If you want to compete in the special 8-ball tournament this weekend as part of the Grand Opening, make sure you are there early to register on Saturday at 1 p.m. It could fill up fast, especially with Racks kicking in $300 cash to help sweeten the pot. With the cooler temperatures just around the corner, you don't have to retreat out of sight for the winter months. Get out and enjoy yourself at Racks. Shoot some pool, have some fun, and maybe even win a prize along the way.
