Continued from pg. 8 "I don't think Gogals [Air Service] are adverse to providing some of that service, too," Coun. Mayer added. Additionally, it seems the Town of Snow Lake is not only looking at airport and residential lots Ð they are also in the process of developing a number of industrial lots. Asked about this prior to that same public meeting, Coun. Mayer said some new lots would be a budget item in the coming year and all council members noted that there has been an immense amount of interest in industrial space. As a result, 12 new lots will be carved out of a subdivision slated to be built east of Manitoba Hydro's hilltop office. "We started with four or five larger lots, then we had some discussion about what would happen if a smaller company came in and needs a smaller lot," said Mayor Fisher of council's deliberation of the matter. "So we're actually looking at developing 12 - 50' lots. That way, if a company needs one lot they buy it, and if they need a larger lot, they buy two." My Take on Snow Lake runs Fridays.
