A plan to bring the remarkable true story of a former Flin Flonner to the silver screen has a familiar name on board.
As The Reminder reported last month, Stan Borley has penned The 4th Step, a screenplay based on his life.
Borley now says Kimber Eastwood has joined the project as a producer. Eastwood, the daughter of Clint, has produced or associate produced four films to date.
The 4th Step is based on a novella Borley wrote about his up-and-down life, including his time as a drug smuggler and involvement in smuggling black-market gold in Asia.
After years of crime he made an attempt to turn his life around. Now living in Summerland, BC, he succeeded thanks to Alcoholics Anonymous, the renowned 12-step program.
