The final anode from Hudbay’s now-defunct copper smelter is on permanent display at Pioneer Square. Reads the inscription: “Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Co. Limited Began Casting Copper in 1930 / This Final Anode Was Cast June 11 2010 / 99.5% Copper 317 Kg”.
