MTS is warning the public about a telemarketing scam involving a Quebec-based company calling itself Convergia. The communications provider has recently received several reports from customers who say this organization claims to be working in partnership with MTS on a long-distance calling plan. But MTS is in no way affiliated with this company and asks customers to protect themselves by not providing any information to people making these types of claims. Phone scams may be reported to MTS by calling the company's security line at 1-800-592-2920.
